Students at Craigflower have always had a lot of fun on the schoolgrounds. Archival Photo of Craigflower Schoolhouse B.C. Archives (A_02661)
Bell Tower The big belltower with the bell from the wrecked steamboat "Major Tompkins" was rung to call the children to classes. Craigflower pupils ranged in age from four year to sixteen years old in 1853. There were eleven girls and ten boys the first year, three of whom were boarders.

Archaeological finds on site have included glass and clay marbles, jacks, and pennies. These tell us something of the children's activities and interests. Hand tinted Archival photo of Craigflower Schoolhouse B.C. Archives (A_02663)
